History - Past to Present:
|
My favorite bands are the Beatles, The Stones, The Who, The Kinks, XTC, U2, Small Faces and Faces, The Police, Tom Petty, REM, Cake, Radiohead, and Collective Soul. Lots of different genres get my attention.
I was born and raised in Philadelphia. Music with me began at the age of 11 in the Philadelphia Boys Choir, as a Second Soprano. When puberty hit, that gig was over real quick as I went from second soprano into a tenor real quick. I also played Trombone in elementary school and high school. As far my interest in Bass goes, it started when I heard McCartney's brief Bass solo on Every Bodies Got Something to Hide Except for Me and Monkey. Although very brief, I never heard anything like that before. From that moment on I pursued the Bass.
I came to the St Louis area courtesy of the Air Force in 2004. I retired in 2007 and made the Metro-East region my home.
In 2009 I formed String Theory. A band that cover's 80's, 90's and the newer music. We cover some mainstream songs as well as a few more obscure musical gems that include some one hit wonders. We parted ways and now looking for a new opportunity.
I use a Peavy Grind, Laguna LB524, Gretsch Short-scale, and a Squire Classic Vibe for my basses. Carvin BX500 Head Gallien Krueger MBE212 Cab Rotosound strings. Didgitech BPh50 when needed.
